Literature and art happily meet in this book discussion group offered by the Colby College Museum of Art and the Waterville Public Library.
A Thousand Words Book Discussion Group is a feast for readers and lovers of art. Participants read one book at a time, meeting weekly to discuss chapters and sections. Opening meetings are discoveries of art featuring treasures from the Colby Museum of Art. If there is a movie adaptation of the title, participants enjoy a viewing of the film upon finishing the book. The coffee is good; the discussions are great.
Meets on Thursdays, 10:00am at the Museum and the Library.
