Reader Dogs at the Library! Sign-ups now open!

Our friends the therapy dogs from Kennebec Valley Love on a Leash will be visiting once a month during the spring. For kids who would like to practice using their reading skills, or families who want a fun, calming read-aloud opportunity, sign up for your 15 minutes of furry love and attention!

Wednesdays March 23 & May 25, from 3:30—4:30 pm

Saturdays, April 23 & June 18, from 11:30 am—12:30 pm

Each child will have 15 minutes to read aloud to one of the dogs from a book of their choice.

There are a limited number time slots, so first come first serve and reservations are strongly encouraged, but don't be afraid to sign up or walk in! Even after we fill up, there might be cancellations. :)
