The Inland Woods Trail, accessible for walkers of all ages and abilities, will come to life with The Busy Body Book by Lizzy Rockwell on signs along the trail to read and move to! Waterville Library staff will be on-hand to lead walks between 11 am and 2 pm on Saturday; participating families may register for a prize drawing. The StoryWalk will be available for self-guided adventure any time throughout the week along with the Little Let’s Go! Loop and miles of other family-friendly trails. And don’t miss the Little Free Library – take a book, read a book, or donate a book.
The Inland Woods Trail, gateway to Waterville’s Pine Ridge Trails, is located on the Inland Hospital campus behind the hospital and open to the public year-round. Follow the trail signs and look for the trailhead kiosk at the back corner of the employee parking lot. Learn more at inlandhospital.org or call 861-3292.
