National Take Your Child to the Library Day on Saturday, February 1st!

 

A fun-filled Saturday for families of pre-school/elementary school-aged children!

 

On the first Saturday in February, thousands of libraries across the world celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day by offering free, fun, fabulous activities for families. Take Your Child to the Library Day is the perfect time to discover some library magic. Check out the below events!

 

10-10:30 am: Dance in the Library with Waterville Moves! Children of all ages can come and get their wiggles out with guidance from the Waterville Moves instructors.

1-2:30 pm: Book Reading of Who Needs a Statue? and follow-up craft with author Margy Burns Knight. The art activity is intended for children ages 5 and up.

 

Oliver & Friends Bookshop will be there selling copies of the book, if you want to get one signed to take home! They can take cash, check, or card.
