GoodReads - Goodreads is the largest social network for readers in the world. More than 4,100,000 members have added more than 110,000,000 books to their shelves. A place for casual readers and bona-fide bookworms alike, Goodreads members recommend books, compare what they are reading, keep track of what they've read and would like to read, form book clubs and much more. Goodreads was launched in December 2006.

- The Alex Award
- The Alex Awards, are funded by the Margaret Alexander; Edwards Trust, which are announced annually in conjunction with National; Library Week, honor the top 10 adult books for teenagers published during a calendar year.
- The John Newbery Award
- The Newbery Medal was named for 18th Century British bookseller John Newbery. It is awarded annually by the American Library Association - Association for Library Service to Children, to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American Literature for children.
- The Michael L. Printz Award
- The Michael L. Printz Award is an award for a book that exemplifies literary excellence in young adult literature. It is named for a Topeka, Kansas school librarian who was a long-time active member of the Young Adult Library Services Association of the American Library Association.
